Product Review: ezWebBusinessBuilder Instructional Videos
from: Robin HenryWhile the web is chock full of information about how we can emulate the successes of others and become millionaires, or never have to work for a boss again, occasionally there are programs that really stand out. Such a program is ezWebBusinessBuilder produced by JDD Publishing Co which I bought and tested recently.
Why does ezWebBusinessBuilder stand out? Because it is refreshingly different; innovative, and based on sound educational principles. Most products simply tell you what to do to become wealthy using strategies said to have been uncovered by their authors while creating their own success. This product does that too, but combines it with the EDP instructional strategy (Explain-Demonstrate-Practise), which is far superior. Not only that, the support resources provided at the JDD Publishing site are excellent.
JDD Publishing's product consists of a single CD-ROM attractively presented in a nice case. On the CD are 18 videos that step users through the processes of researching and identifying products to sell online, selecting a domain name and producing a sales site, optimizing the site for search engines, discussing eight different ways to market your products, and much more.
Each video has a show and tell using an animated character (dressed in a blue suit with a red tie no less!) who walks you through the process and then disappears in a puff of smoke (literally!). You then follow a link to a page on the JDD Publishing site to "Perform Task from Video xx".
As the topics from Video One to Video 18 describe a linear process, you simply follow the walk through videos in order and then carry out the "Perform Task ..." function to implement each step in logical sequence. It's easy to understand and very easy to do. There's even a free web design software package thrown in for those who haven't got one.
As is common with JDD Publishing media, it's of high quality and works effectively and efficiently. It does get monotonous watching the little blue-suit guy for all 18 videos, but at the end of the day, if you want to establish an Internet presence and make money selling your own or others' products, ezWebBusinessBuilder will help you take a huge leap in the right direction. In fact, it would be hard to fail if you follow this prescription.
As an educator, I'm impressed with the instructional style, simplicity, and excellent content that has been integrated in this product. At less than $100 US, it's good value for money and comparable with many other less user friendly products that cost the same.
If you want to establish a web business or convert an existing business to the web, all you need do, according to the CD cover is "Simply pop this CD into your computer and build your business on the web, step-by-step ... when you've completed all the steps, you'll have a working, growing Internet business!" I agree, but I've got to go now ... another site to build.
